a little more about me
Hi, I’m Abby Pollak,
I’m 16 years old and was born and raised in Miami, Florida. My first sport was golf, inspired by my dad and siblings, who are child golf superstars. I’ve been playing since a young age and have been part of the Varsity Golf team throughout middle and high school. I’m proud to have earned the Rookie of the Year and MVP awards for my performance.
At age ___, I discovered lacrosse and fell in love with the sport. I’ve pursued it passionately, joining the Women’s Varsity Lacrosse team at my school and becoming a member of the Peruvian National Lacrosse Team in the U.S. I’ve had the opportunity to represent Peru at the 2023 PALA Games in Kingston, Jamaica, and the 2024 Heritage Cup in Maryland.
Lacrosse has become a huge part of my life, and I’m committed to sharing that passion with other girls across Latin America. I’ve had the chance to join the Peruvian Lacrosse team in Lima, where I’ve trained girls in local schools, helping to spread the sport. Through clinics, promotional events, and equipment donations, I’m working to raise awareness of lacrosse in Peru and build a strong base of talented players.
When I’m not focusing on my studies at Ransom Everglades, you can usually find me training with my mentor, Belle Smith, or practicing with my lacrosse team in Miami and my travel club.
